Quantitative Strategies Analyst

The general purpose of this three-year position is to help analyze, evaluate and implement customized, quantitative strategies in global interest rates and equities, commodities, and currencies during a three year program. This position will focus on implementing technological solutions to help systematically evaluate quantitative strategies and utilize a strong quantitative skillset to parse out design elements for relevance, cost and efficacy. This individual’s skillset will also be heavily relied upon to provide strong technological leverage to current trading desk processes and systems as they relate to strategy implementation and data capture. Projects frequently involve the use of computer programming, Monte Carlo simulation, regression analysis, and statistical analysis of historic financial data. This work is to be performed in a fast-paced environment while maintaining reliability and quality of analysis.


  • A three-year program available for international students with degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) pursuing a 24 month STEM OPT extension
  • Bachelor's degree in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science
  • Candidates must have a strong academic and/or professional history, and possess a high degree of aptitude in quantitative and analytical thinking
  • Highly proficient in techniques and technologies related to quantitative/statistical analysis (Excel/VBA, R, Python, Matlab) and data management (SQL)
  • It is expected that a successful candidate will be able to synthesize information of disparate types from various sources in order to produce a cohesive analytic framework that is efficient and streamlined. Therefore, the ability to be flexible and nimble with coding and working to integrate with various systems will be a critical skill that a candidate should possess.
  • Strong interest in Financial Markets / Economics
  • Programming knowledge required. Matlab and VBA experience preferred
  • SQL language and database familiarity also a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
