Senior Analyst, Fixed Income and Derivatives

Responsibilities

The general purpose of this position is to provide key input and support in the day-to-day management and maintenance of client derivatives portfolios.  Working alongside senior members of the Portfolio Management team, Analysts have a number of key responsibilities including monitoring portfolio risk exposures and performance, ensuring consistency amongst portfolios, allocating securities trades in portfolios, and providing analysis of client portfolios and the investments that they hold.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong academic and/or professional history
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the derivatives market
  • Experience working with and analyzing financial data from a variety of data sources such as Bloomberg is preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial markets (particularly derivatives) and industry conventions is preferred
  • High degree of aptitude in quantitative and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Drive to perform at a high level under pressure and time constraints
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Achieved or be willing to work toward a professional designation (e.g., CFA)
