Responsibilities

The Compliance Officer supports the Compliance Group by creating, maintaining and analyzing reports that help confirm compliance with client guidelines, and federal and international securities laws. The Compliance Officer will focus on the development of knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas: trading surveillance, financial markets and asset classes, trade execution and allocation, performance and securities valuation. The Compliance Officer will acquire increased formal day-to-day responsibility over time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience with Charles River batch compliance and post trade alert reviews
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Instruments and Fixed Income Trading Surveillance
  • Experience working with and analyzing financial data from a variety of data sources
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Experience managing a team a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with Crystal Reports and Bloomberg preferred
  • Have or be interested in achieving a professional designation (e.g., CFA) or advanced degree (e.g. MBA)
