The project manager is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including leading, planning, establishing delivery deadlines, communication, monitoring, and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering technology and business projects. The project manager may be responsible for managing multiple projects in varying stages of the project lifecycle, and will collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, team members, vendors and other departments to support timely delivery of the projects.


  • Lead project-related initiatives across multiple departments
  • Manage large technology projects and assist with planning and execution of small projects
  • Lead project meetings with the project teams
  • Facilitate business requirements sessions and elicit project requirements with the key stakeholders. Translate business requirements to user stories
  • Facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization sessions
  • Lead sprint planning sessions to identify the work that will be completed for the project
  • Facilitate daily standups and take the initiative to remove project impediments
  • Assist with creating test plans and ensure that adequate acceptance testing is completed prior to deployments. May be asked to create and execute test plans to confirm the quality and functionality meets acceptance criteria
  • Complete PMO reporting every two weeks for each project in accordance with the PMO guidelines
  • Facilitate sprint and final project retrospective meetings to discuss lessons learned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Project Management, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Three  or more years of experience in IT and business project management including business analysis
  • Financial industry knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile framework and waterfall methodology required
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong, positive working relationships with business and technology project teams
  • Experience with CA Agile Central (formerly Rally) or other agile software, SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) preferred
  • Agile certifications or PMP a plus
